The perfect breakout box for RJ45 (8 position) wiring : The CTX1400 provides access (via its patch panel) to every pin in a RJ45 terminated cable. With its gold plated turret oins, ON/OFF switches on each lead; and a LED on each pin the CTX1400 can perform the following functions:
• Breakout Box... Access each RJ45 connector lead on 16 gold plated turret pins.
• Patch Panel... Test new cabling combinations quickly using the ON/OFF switches and patchcords (4 included).
• Cable Tester... Using the LEDs associated with each turret pin, display the exact pin by pin configuration of a connecting cable, regardless of the wiring configuration. Use the CTX1425 Cabletester Bounceback Unit to perfrom similar tests on installed cables (available separately).
• Hub/DTE locator... Scan the pins for the presence of the hub or PC connection to the cable.
